Denmark and Italy are similar in that there is a definite lack of pace in the centre of defence. Kane isn't the quickest but he does move around and leave spaces for the quicker players to attack through the middle.

The reason Southgate doesn't start Grealish is that he likes all of his players to be good defenders and he doesn't think that Grealish is. Mancini has the same philosophy with his Italian team.
