I think most people are resigned to us going down. We have been in the bottom 3 for what feels like an eternity.

I dont see why we are so resigned to going down, even with the terrible run we have had we are still not cast adrift which shows that we werent a bad side in the first part of the season.
A lot more things have changed at Saints than most of the other clubs down at the bottom, as I have pointed out if we had held on against Wolves and won we would now be 16th and out of the relegation zone, that shows that we are right there in the mix and capable of pulling clear if we can put a good run together | |

Burnley seem to be doing ok.
We'd lose some like KWP and JWP but a lot of the SR signings like Edozie aren't ready for the PL yet and so won't be going anywhere. I can't see a massive queue for the likes of Orsic or DCC either.
I see no reason why we can't have a far more entertaining season in the 2nd tier than in the PL, a league we aren't a big enough club to be in anymore. | |

Basically we need 7 wins. We might get 5 if we are lucky. We are pretty much depending on the others being as poor as we have been so far. We could moan about it week after week, but I think most recognise we are in a pretty much hopeless situation, though of course, as others have shown before, near miracles can happen. If the spirit we showed against Chelsea can be maintained for the rest of the season, that would be the only grounds for hope. |  |

Are Fulham, Brighton, Palace, Brentford etc bigger clubs than Saints or the longevity we've had in the Prem? It's been a bad couple of seasons but there may be a glimmer of hope of staying up. A slim hope I know, but at least it's there |  | | |

Tickets for away games may well be more expensive in the Championship.
No £30 cap for away fans, I believe. |  |
