Trouble after Malmo game 18:44 - Aug 9 with 8940 views1983

Anyone else have any trouble?

We bumped into a load Malmo fans around their old stadium sneaking around trying to pick Jacks off and also around the Trianglie station...w@nkers

Probably Brøndby fans (Danish side) trying to pick a fight. They have sort of a friendly bond with Malmö FF

Why would you even say that? There were about 20 brondby fans in our end who drank with us all day and walked to the stadium with us in swans tops..

Perhaps they weren't the ones in Swansea tops?

Well Malmö has small firm who has a reputation looking for fans on their own or just a few.
None respect for colors they will jump you

But the ordinary Malmö fan is normally ok.

Well they do that because they are not a match for the big Stockholm firms.
Just a trying to get some kind of rep the name True Rockers says it all doesn't it.

No I don't belong to a firm.47 years and remember Bob Latchford playing for Everton.

2013 and we're still talking about 'firms',

It's like being stuck in a time warp ffs,

It's almost laughable if it wasn't so tragic...

Yeah, we caught up in it.

We all left the stadium in groups of 2's and 3's, the place was dark and perfect for them to jump out of the shadows and have sneaky digs.

Malmo "boys" were hiding all along the paths through the parks trying to pick off jacks. After one Jack got smashed, we all got together to make the walk back, then the local police and the two Swansea police escorted us the, what felt like a good 5 mile walk back to Lilla Torg.

They were a bunch of cowards who would have got smashed had they tried it on with any large groups of jacks.

Took nothing away from a fantastic trip though, laugh a minute with the most beautiful women i've ever seen.

I want a mate like Flashberryjacks, who wears a Barnsley jersey with "Swans are my second team" on the back.

We had the same issues when we were there. A group of around 20 Malmo lads tried to attack us at the Drum Bar the day before our game. Luckily police were on top of it.

Even on match day police apparently let some of their naughtier boys drink in a pub just outside the square and we were advised not to venture that way.

After the game there were small groups scattered around the place looking for trouble and I heard of a few minor incidents.

All in all the people there were super friendly but this certainly put a slight damper to the trip.

had a few malmo boys come up to us after the match asking if we wanted to play, they only looked about 16,had hell of a walk back to the train station and they were hiding in the bushes, malmo police said they might try to attack you but didnt seem interested, fair play to the swansea police who walked back with us and had no help from their swedish partners

If they really had wanted to confront the Swansea fans, they would of known most of the jacks were in lilla trog on wednesday and very few police, but they were a few kids nothing more, i saw a few of them walk into the drumbar dressed in stone island and when they saw 200 jacks out the back drinking they looked shocked and walked back out, but have to say all the swedish i met were fantastic and really helpful..

We ventured to 1 of their pubs ( we were invited by 2 Malmo boys), we were not welcomed into the pub they tried to take us too.

9 of us walked out of stadium in completely the wrong direction (tanked up obviously) and landed up in an area reminiscent of Peckham, high rise flats.

the locals were great though and they directed us back to the central strip.

Wandered over to another square early afternoon where we were made more than aware that this was their square and Lilla Torg was the place for the likes of us.

A bit unnecessary but given how awesome it was over there, a blessing in the end.
