Even if we managed to sign Messi, Ronaldo and Casillas - we still wouldn't finish top 4.
10th-14th is a respectable target for us this season in my opinion. If we can get another quality CB in then maybe 8th-14th.

It's quite interesting how some posters views change depending on who's post they're reading. I talk about finishing above liverpool once in the next 5 years, a real possibility as imo liverpool are a top 7th club at best with a manager that is unknown and has zero pulling power yet this post gets a few put downs. I don't want op coming under fire as we should all look to get along and be part of a team but you can see why sometimes I can be felt harshly dealt by some. The big danger QPR have this year is people getting totally carried away and then playing up at matches when things don't go quite as well as they thought. It's happened before.

Top 4 is a fairly ludicrous bet.. and 100/1 although initially sounds quite big odds..is not nearly big enough... top 6 and it starts to sound a little more plausible but still I'd be hoping for better odds. If Cisse gets injured..or isn't as good as he looked like he could be last year...then suddenly I don't think we look all that. I think bottom half but no relegation worries is more realistic, and if everything works out well then a top 10 finish would be excellent... (hopefully with a decent cup run as a bonus)...

So let me get this right, we are 150/1 to finish above the likes of:
Spurs -who have spend the thick end of circa 200 mill on players over the last few seasons.
Liverpool - who granted have been poor but still have the likes of Gerrard, Suarez et al in thier team.
Everton - who have been a consistent top 8 team for the past however many years.
then there is the likes of Fulham, Sunderland, stoke who have consolidated their positions and have had better squads in the past than we have now.
Man City spent how much a couple of seasons ago and still finished 5th!!
People realise we are 1 injury away from playing Shaun Derry in midfield again. Don't get me wrong i think we will be mid table but Top 4! ...........Please! |  | | |
