I have to say this is the worst team I have seen in 54 years of watching the Saints , some would say the poorest team in SFC history??
But strangely I don't blame the players, if you play players out of position and in systems/formations they can't play what do you expect! Different players every game, no settled side, no leaders on the pitch. It could even be said that the managers are just carrying out the instructions of SR.
100% to blame are SPORTS REPUBLIC terrible owners who think their multi team idea is working, without the money to operate such an operation

Not sure how you cannot lay some of the blame on the players. They're professionals ffs and should have more fight and pride in their jobs. A league 1 side wouldn't get turned over like we've been this season.
Of course Brighton have better players than we do, but the manner of that defeat was not so much to do with ability or being played out of position....it was down to attitude. We fvcking stink and those players are the only ones that can directly put that right. |  |

I think there have been worse teams in the 50 years or so I have been watching, the 2007/08 season saw us stay up in the Championship on the last day of the season and under Michael Wilde we had an owner who made Sport Republic look good.
The side that lost away to Hull 5-0
M Poke, A Ostlund, D Powell, J Viafara, W Thomas, M Licka (S Gillett, 62), J Euell, Y Safri, G Vignal, D McGoldrick (V Pericard, 46), S John (J Wright, 70)
The current side would have beaten them.
Or in 2008/09 the side that lost to Coventry away 4-1
K Davis, L James (S Gillett, 58), C Perry, O Lancashire, J Mills, J Cork, P Wotton (B Wright-Phillips, 58), D McGoldrick, A Lallana (T Pekhart, 59), A Surman, J Robertson
A couple of promising youngsters in there like Lallana & Schneiderlin but they were just kids, so I think this seasons side would have beaten them | |

Yes, they are overpaid professionals, are should be putting in more effort. It looks like they have had all the fight removed from them. I sometimes go early to games and have brief chats with the players as they arrive, some are happy to talk, some not!! I remember Diaz, before he went out on loan, saying he was being asked to play in a way he could not do that well, so he was dropped. Play Aribo as a CB when he is clearly not comfortable, then blame him when he makes mistakes. Sure they are professionals and should be putting in more, but I would imagine it is hard when there is no settled side, no chance to build up understanding with teammates knowing in the next game it will be different. Plus, most know they will not be here next season!! Certain players are just here for the money, and refuse to sign autographs pose for photos with the kids or even acknowledge the fans before they go in (some are great and always chat with the kids) It's a job nothing more | | | |

Agree both poor seasons, but whole club was in a mess leading to administration, even so at least we could score goals 2007/08 we won 13 games drew 15, 2008/09 won 10 drew 15, would love to win 10 games this season. Plus SR has pumped millions into the club
