That was transfer deadline day in August last season.

Spookily enough I was staying in the same digs at Newcastle on both nights.

The following day we got rinsed 5-0 by the team who had just sold us Ross Stewart.

I have learned the hard way never to again stay in the Quayside Premier Inn at Newcastle....
