Dibbling on his way to Spurs ? on 08:58 - Jan 28 with 1599 views | kingslandstand1 | BBC (and media generally) yet again selling our players for us. Can't be much happening at Man U or City or Arse etc
Dibbling on his way to Spurs ? on 09:09 - Jan 28 with 1585 views | PatfromPoole | Seems to be rumours of a sale and loan back to us for the rest of the season. Which would mean that we would have all the inconvenience of his injury. Therefore highly plausible. Every day something happens in this game to make me love it a little bit less.

Including the headlines today that Michael Oliver has had death threats and threats to put bomb under his car cos of the (wrong) sending off at the weekend! Getting police protection as well apparently Fkng madness
Dibbling on his way to Spurs ? on 10:08 - Jan 28 with 1524 views | saint901 | Would be a very odd signing for Spurs. They are leaking goals and probably about to sack the manager and are more in need of defenders than midfield/strikers. Plus as is said above, Levy is not going to pay top dollar for an injured teenager who has not done a full season. I can see KWP going to Spurs though.
Dibbling on his way to Spurs ? on 12:26 - Jan 28 with 1478 views | dirk_doone | Go to London and seek your fortune young man. It's a well-trodden path followed by Ramsey, Chivers, Bale and now Dibling.

Dibbling on his way to Spurs ? on 12:45 - Jan 28 with 1434 views | franniesTache | If you're talking about improving his career i'd have thought Arsenal were the perfect team for Dibling, Spurs seem a really weird one as I doubt Levy would pay what's needed and i don't think it's a good place for him to go given the mess they're in. | | | | Login to get fewer ads
Dibbling on his way to Spurs ? on 13:03 - Jan 28 with 1410 views | saint901 | I'd have thought City is better. They probably need some rebuilding and an English recruit may help in their CL ambitions? I know that Dibling is similar in many ways to Grealish but let's be honest, Grealish has been underperforming for at least the last three seasons. (Never been a fan of his).
Dibbling on his way to Spurs ? on 13:17 - Jan 28 with 1378 views | solent_toffee | This is exactly the sort of signing Everton should be making, meeting whatever Saints value him at. I know you will all think, quite rightly, why would he go to a relegation rival, basket case of a club etc, but with new owners, new ground, PSR problems in the past and more revenue, hopefully this will be in the past and there will be a brighter future. Signing top potential players should be part of the plan. Forest did it with Morgan Gibbs White and built a team around him. They paid top whack when they were certain a for the drop and it paid off. I appreciate it’s unlikely like.

I think you're absolutely right they should, but it's Everton who are a basket case so they absolutely won't.

He'd be better off going to Bournemouth or even Brighton. He'll get lots of development and PL games

Haha, very true. They were in the running for Gibbs White and baulked at the price. He’s worth twice what Forest paid for him. Hopefully the new Everton will be more sensible than the old Everton!

Would probably much better for his career if he did but I think this will be a money talks one and his agent will want the biggest pay day he can get.
Dibbling on his way to Spurs ? on 15:21 - Jan 28 with 1167 views | grumpy | I am going to be controversial here. How good is Dibbling? Of course he has talent and would love for him to stay. But like the lad that went to Chelsea if we could get a large fee, so be it. The only problem is will we waste the money again?

He already tried it !! Moved to Chelsea in the summer of 2022 I believe, but couldn't settle, so returned to Saints just a couple of months later.

Personally i think Dibiling is the best young player i've seen us produce for a generation. If he can stay fit and play under the right manager he'll go right to the top. The question for me is are his agents sensible enough to see that he's better going for a big move in 2-3 seasons instead of now, because what he needs now is game time in a side built around him rather than being a sub at a club full of multi millionaires

Just a thought but to me this seems like a smoke screen, Spuds/Levy just trying to apease their fans due to their very poor form and league position, through out the whole game at St Mary's they were slating Levy, can't see any truth in this rumour at all?

Agree with that. I think Walcott had a good career. He should have had a great career. He burst on the scene with us and played without fear. Left far too soon and though he did well,.I think playing for a year or two in the Championship would have made him better. I think Dibling may have benefitted from being left out a few times this season, which if we hadn't been so absolutely terrible, may have happened

Yes! that’s what happened to Grealish at City. In some ways he reminds me of Grealish.

I actually think 130 is right, Bournemouth or Brighton would be perfect moves for him. Keeps him in the league and potentially with europe, but not the same egos as the money clubs

I couldn’t face him signing for Boscombe. Losing our best player to them would be the ultimate insult, and would virtually put me off football for good.

He would really develop well in the current Bournemouth team, and it couldn't be better suited to his style of play. Also he'd still be close to family and friends which is important when you're only 18. I'd say B'mouth have got the money to buy him aswell.

Dibbling is the closest we've come to another young Le Tiss. Without having too much pace he still manages to somehow wriggle out of tight situations and glide past defenders like they're not there, just like Matty did in his early days. He also has an uncanny eye for goal, and in a much better team than ours he would be scoring loads of goals. In an absolute sh*tshow of a season, him and Fernandes have often been the only players worth watching. Mind you, he seems a bit grumpy at times, so whether he goes on to become a huge superstar probably depends on his attitude (and possibly his agent!).
