Yesterday the Southampton Echo report of yet another Saints defeat stated that the we have won just one game out of the last thirty six Premiership attempts, spread over two seasons.
Assuming their statistics to be correct I wonder if there has ever been a Premiership team worse than ourselves ?
Given that it’s looking extremely unlikely that we will even equal Derby’s pathetic eleven points relegation total it would indeed be a comfort to learn that at some point in time there was actually a more embarrassing team than us. [Post edited 26 Jan 17:54]

No, not even in the history of the Football League, since there have been 3 points for a win.
We are about to break every record in the book as the worst top flight team in history.
