State of our club on 12:42 - Jan 26 with 1432 views | union_jack | Surprised nobody has commented on this?! Edit: nobody had at the time of writing😏 I didn’t realise we were close to signing a DoF. And now, as seen in many ways in the past, the deal is pulled last minute. Why I wonder? The positive would be that LW is in his way out imminently and that the new manager and DoF may need to work in tandem. If LW is going, there’ll be no more signings so filling the post isn’t quite as urgent, though it’s still very important we get one to source players in the close season. Who is Darren Witcoop? State of our club on 12:48 - Jan 26 with 1391 views | jack247 | Is this part of the reason Williams is still here? Coleman just doesn’t know where to start with finding a replacement. I think most of us would settle for Sheehan until the end of the season to keep us up, but who sources the next permanent manager?

Sheehan needs to go as well as the rest, time for a complete new team of coaches with fresh ideas and not leave those here with their same ideas.

Think the only reason why Williams is still at Swansea is the finances to get rid of him. He has two and a half years left on his three and a half year contract. Apparently the club and investors have a progress meeting on Sundays around twice a month.

It's all about players this week coming. Williams will have a few more games before anything happens and they are hopeful that they won't have a decision in that time with a run of games they feel we are capable of picking points up in.......plus 2/3 new faces on board.

They are going to end up paying it sooner or later. They must know that

It's needed as much in reality. Issue is that it seems that Coleman is heading the recruitment.

It’s like everything be that offering new contracts to players and this transfer window as an example. Every week that goes by is less expenditure for the club, even every day. No recruitment of a British football person at the helm, give them any title you want, more money saved. Getting rid of Watson and not recruiting anyone and Coleman controlling everything, more money saved. That’s where we are. Loaning out something like ten academy players, more money saved on incidentals including salary. It all adds up. Those academy players expenditure all told will go on a players salary, or a loan player. It’s that desperate. And all of a sudden scouting missions to Holland are no longer a priority.

But we have been told that transfer windows are planned, even told 2/3 windows down the line are planned 😂 And we have posters telling us that they have put this in and spent this and that amount.......we should be great full they are here. It's like having an 18yr old winning the euro millions and buying a company, chucking his money around with little to zero knowledge.

What about staying in the league? We badly need reinforcements. Coleman has to pull is finger out and sort out this mess.

There'll be less money when we do drop into League one, which is looking inevitable at the moment.

Ste I’ve lost count of the risible decisions we’ve made Long term contract for Grims Naughton, basically washed up,given another year Allen,as above Fisher a long term contract Fulton,a no mark ,given another And on.and on and on And that follows bringing back a crocked Bony etc Owners have been taken in by shysters at interview and are naive beyond words It’s looking very grim as it seems we have to pit up with Williams even thigh he will see us relegated . What then. We are unravelling at a rate of knots and need proper ownership . We haven’t got it ,or anything like it .

Williams can notionally save himself if he himself has not given up. "The players lost the will to compete' is an astonishing statement. What was the captain doing? The players must be is a state of tactical rebellion. Darling gas the fight but not committed. Send him home he has played his last game for Swansea. Why was he signing and then he was not. This is related to the current troubles for sure. It is not about wages but personal reputation.

Interesting post which I agree with I got hammered for suggesting the obvious..that is for Grimes on behalf of the players, confront Williams and say they ain’t having it . He is ruining players ,visibly . He’s been doing this for at least 12 months . Some have been slow to see this . Most of us don’t want some quixotic ,complicated tactics, simply to do the basics ,which we do not Grimes,as a captIn has surely been outed ,alt Keats ,as being woeful and I’m not sure of his personal attributes either . In footballing terms, a craven excuse for a leader

We have been season ticket holders since late 70's. After watching Norwich game he said to me . Hold on with the renewals this year, see what February brings.

It doesn't matter if Williams hasn't given up because it looks like the players have. We have had 4 shocking games out of 5 now. Sheff Utd was a disgrace because of the referee but why are the players producing such Jekyll and Hyde performances? Why have we allowed so many players out on loan or to be sold/released when we are so thin on the ground and apparently not looking like bringing anyone else in. Is it all a big con by Coleman and 4 players will sign on deadline day, or the other con where he's lied to the fans? When you say notionally...well notionally anything can happen but some ideas will never be reality. Most of us seem to agree we are too far down a bad road for LW to survive so we shall see, time will tell.
