Sometimes one decision that's so stupid that you lose all faith in a manager does it for me, and that happened today when he brought Smallbone on for Ugochukwu, who was full of running and our best player. Smallbone???? He can't run, he can't tackle. He just ambles around like Little Boy Lost, doing nothing. Juric has seen him play a couple of times already now and he should know that by now. Have to disagree - Fernandes puts in a good game time and time again. He is one of the few players who anyone can see is actually trying. Shame he will be gone in the summer. |

Yes Southampton Fan you are right, Selles and Ralph doing well at other clubs, even Nathan Jones does fine at other clubs. We are clearly unable to compete at Premier league level and even Pep would struggle with these journeymen, so it is not sustainable or sensible to keep swapping over the manager. Give Juric a chance, surely he can get us 6 points?!
SR are changing things at the top belatedly, but hopefully they have learnt lessons and on our next return to the big boy league we won't be a laughing stock. |

We apparently looked at Juric before appointing statistically the bestest manager in the world. Jones was a dud, Selles was worse and then we appointed a manager who’s style was never ever going to work in the PL
We should have binned Martin off before the season opened or at the latest after the Ipswich home draw and got Juric in then to give him a chance. He’s basically been thrown under a bus particularly if they don’t bring some more players in this window |  | | |

it's easy enough on transfermarkt to see what players his previous clubs, Genoa, Hellas Verona and Torino, bought after he became their manager.

Juric should be looking at Forest and B'muff for the sort of football we need to scrape a few points.
Both of them play a game which embraces a bit of chaos but at the benefit of playing some exciting football.
True the wheels came off for Forest at the weekend and they will for B'muff at some point in t he next few games, but hopefully they will continue to do what they do.
Forest are all about low block and when they get the ball just forward as fast as possible. B'muff are high block and winning the ball in the opposition third. They also have strikers full of confidence.
What if we said the AA, Sulemana, etc that their job was high block and winning the ball and were supported by the midfield?
What would we lose if that meant we were a little short at the back. We can't stop goals going in even when we have 9 at the back! | | | |

Wouldn't say he's been thrown under the bus, he had a choice & decided he wanted the job, so he jumped under the bus.
I do think he is an upgrade on RM, but he has such a useless bunch of players to work with he's no chance, it's a thankless task.
I think given time & some better players then he could do a good job, unfortunately he's not likely to get either. | | | |

Forest and Bournemouth have actual footballers, one's that can actually play. |
Forest, having narrowly avoided the drop last season, had a vast, bloated squad which they had to thin out during the Summer... which they did.
What they now have are no big stars or Charlie big-bollix types. They have good, honest, capable players all over the pitch & a very good manager in Nuno Espírito Santo who gets the very best out of them and makes them work hard & train hard, by all accounts. He also plays the game the way it should be played.
We have none of the above... except the bloated, sub-standard squad part. |  |
