It really is incredible what Bournemouth have achieved. A stadium which holds 11800 and they are such a good team with great players.

Perks of having an owner, board & manager who know what they're doing.

Aye. I watched most of their game tonight. They really should have won. And yet Chelsea were so good in the first-half. Palmer scored a majestic goal. But Boscombe have pace all over the pitch. And excellent defenders. Pains me to watch them.

What has the size of their stadium got to do with their progress / results / success? Provided things don’t reach saturation levels on TV audiences you could play to an empty stadium and still win the league (if you have decent owners and daft investment levels). The days of ‘bums on seats’ are long gone on affecting finances majorly. [Post edited 15 Jan 7:33]

Well, arguably it is more difficult to attract good managers and players if you play in a tiny stadium. I don't think they pay particularly excessive wages either TBF.

Dont worry, come the summer, the manager (my bet Spurs) will be pinched along with their top players. Then it will all come crashing back down.

There is that but let’s be honest, the wheels are gonna come off the likes of Brighton, Bournemouth and Forest at some stage (Ala us a few years back) as sustaining the results they are getting will be a problem longer term. A couple of duff signings and it doesn’t take much to put you back in as relegation fodder
