Transfer window meeting 09:36 - Jan 9 with 570 viewsMattFinish

We’re led to believe that our board had their first transfer meeting on Tuesday, over a week after the window opened, but so far unlike most other teams all I have read is players leaving and not arriving

My guess is SR will leave it til the final day and make a couple of lower division panic buys

They are keeping a few scruffy geese, in the belief that Ankersen will deliver them a golden egg.

I don't see us spending any money. They would see it as a waste seeing as we are relegated anyway. What a sad state of affairs! They had meeting about transfers only this week?? Surely, that should have been done a few days after he arrived (if they were going to buy anyone).

They had one plan for staying up - Russell Martin.

They should have sacked him after 8 games and really made an effort to survive.

Instead they stuck with him until we were well adrift and then appointed someone with no PL experiene as a final half-hearted roll of the dice.

Their plan failed and they had/have no Plan B or this season.

Frankly, there is no point in us spending big now.

We'll limp to the end of the season. Get relegated with a laughable points total and Juric will be sacked.

And only then can the Club try to re-group. Hopefully without the current bunch of muppets making the decisions.

Poll: Should we try to replace Selles for the final seven games?

Is there any benefit in panic buying in January ? We are effectively down. Nobody releases decent players in January and whoever they bring in will not keep us up.

Suggest we start planning for next seasons targets.

No need to panic, it seems we've just bought a new 18 year old CB, Joachim Kayi Sanda!
Anyone know anything?

Isn’t our other signing been injured since October with a hamstring injury.
You could make Carry On film on our club.
