Ipswich could well stay up. They have been making some very good buys in the transfer market, including goalscorers like Liam Delap.
It seems that nowadays, the heads of recruitment and directors of football, who choose the players and managers, are even more important than the managers. Ipswich, Forest, Bournemouth and Newcastle obviously have good ones.

Edozie, who is better than Sulemana and Cornet. The last game he played for us was our biggest win of the season: 5-3 at Cardiff. We could do with him against Swansea as he scored the last time we met them at St Mary's and won 5-0.

Yes, I don't think our current team would do as well in the Championship as last season's did. We had a team good enough to finish 4th; I'm not sure this team could manage that. We miss Ché Adams and Stuart Armstrong.

I suppose you could say that Fernández is a replacement for Alcarez but they are slightly different players. I forgot that we'd lost Stuey Armstrong, that is a big miss, sometimes you don't appreciate someone until you haven't got them. We should have attempted to keep David Brookes he's can be a match winner (as he was for Bournemouth last weekend). Instead we chose Ryan Fraser because he was free.

Stu to be honest legs had gone, he had not been the same player in his final 3 seasons as he had been in the previous seasons, in 22/23 he started just 14 Premier League games, in 21/22 just 15.
Last season dropping down a level made it easier for him, but he would not have been good enough this season, he turns 33 in a couple of months.
In 9 games he could have played for Vancouver, he missed 3 presumably through injury and started just 1 with another 5 off the bench, totalling 124 minutes out of 810 in total

I'm just saying our aspirations are so low, Che was bang average to disappointing, we went even lower with other players. Stu was a very intelligent player but needed to go.. Our replacements are worse.

I don't see us spending any money. They would see it as a waste seeing as we are relegated anyway. What a sad state of affairs! I saw they had meeting about transfers only this week?? Surely, that should have been done a few days after he arrived (if they were going to buy anyone).
