TNS a very naive tonight on 20:54 - Dec 19 with 1031 views | Whiterockin | Do people realise that if the Euro project came into being. We would be playing tonight and then straight into the EFL Christmas fixtures. Football suicide.

Chelsea, Spurs, Man Utd all playing tonight. It is success not suicide. Laudrup was successful and took Swnsea into Europe. His squad was not quite strong enough. Lamah Tiendelli etc. Swans would need also to win the Welsh cup before even thinking about Europe. [Post edited 19 Dec 21:50]

That's why the Premier League have 38 matches not 46.

Manchester city have played 29 games already this season compared to Swansea's 23. It is a basic fact if you are unsuccessful you play less games.

TNS a very naive tonight on 06:02 - Dec 20 with 777 views | sons_of_omri | TNS are a joke- a fabricated parallel universe club that welsh nationalists fawn over. They are playing in Europe by dominating more or less a league on par with the Northern Premier or Isthmian league (I know those names have changed by the standard is the same is the point I’m making ).

I doubt TNS are that good. Their average attendance is 229, 11th out of 12 in the Cymru league. The average attendance of the Cymru League is 316 this season with a total attendance of all clubs 58,511 By comparison approximately 500,000 people have attended the four EFL Welsh clubs this season. TNS attendance is lower than any team in the Northern Premier league. They have an average attendance of over 700 which no Cymru team can match. The Isthmian league average attendance is also over 700. The Cymru league despite the efforts of the Welsh FA is a poor standard is of little interest to the football public of Wales

As a matter of interest, how are Man City doing in the league this season with such a heavy workload. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

And people want is to mix with clubs that get 200 for a crowd. They are meaningless

It has been the same for the last five seasons. The demise of Man city is not related to the workload which is pretty much the same for all the top 5 or 6 clubs over the last 5 years.

Plaid Cymru followers do not fawn over TNS. The league is not well funded and is developing slowly. They thrashed the Swansea u21 side 5-1. They have done well in Europe this season and earned some cash. There is a tiresome anti Welsh slant on this forum with the flagmen the guy from Suffolk and the Wirrall ex copper who has fallen in love with north west (good for him). It is entwined with second city syndrome and hate of the Welsh capital Cardiff and anything associated with it. BBC Wales, Wales online Cardiff Wales airport etc. [Post edited 20 Dec 21:08]

No there isn’t. There’s an anti non league welsh village club playing in Europe when they’ve no real right through achievement slant . Swansea are a Welsh club that did it the proper way winning major English silverware.
