Southampton V Liverpool The Carabao Cup Preview on 08:23 - Dec 18 with 441 views | felly1 | We're a poor team at this level. Recruitment has been patchy at best. Too many non productive attackers. A mediocre defence . An easily overrun midfield. Martin had to get the sack. Maybe we can sack off the Recruitment team next. I'll be there tonight hoping we turn it on and Liverpool are not a the races.

Good points I would say. We are a poor team at this level but not that much different from 4 or 5 other teams in terms of standard, just poorly managed. Recruitment has been patchy, but we have made some good signings, the problem was that we also made signings that didn't fit Martin's style for some reason The strikers weren't getting the chances due to the possession football game, maybe that will change The defence isn't the best, but a lot of the goals have been down to getting caught playing out of defence, so perhaps not as bad as we would think. The midfield lacks physical strength, we bought in Ugochukwu for that, but he has been rarely played, Martin preferred Smallbone and Aribo, look at other teams midfields they are big and strong Yes Martin should have been sacked at least 5 games ago. The recruitment team works to a strategy, why did they bring in players that Martin was never going to use Ill be there tonight and like you hoping we turn it on and win the game, I'm also hoping that some of our squad will now play without the pressure of possession football and show that they are not too bad after all
