Saints Not Afraid Of Sacking Russell Martin Even If They Have To Pay 13th Nov 2024 20:28
Recent reports have suggested that Southampton have not dispensed with the services of Russell Martin due to the alleged £12 million compensation cost. However it is now suggested that this is not the case and that if they do lose faith they are willing to pay the price. 11

There is little point in sacking him if nobody better wants the gig.

The key thing to me is whether Ankersen, Kraft and Parsons will accept that this style of football is destined for failure for us, and that we need a more pragmatic manager who will get us those ugly wins we need to climb the table.

If they are just going to employ another reincarnation of Russell Martin, there is little point in doing it.

I still think they are going to go down the Director of Football route, and that will be all they do this season.

"There is little point in sacking him if nobody better wants the gig."

He's got 4 points from 11 games, we've only scored 7 goals and have conceded 21. At this point even Nathan Jones had a better record than Russell Martin, so i'd argue pretty much anyone is better than this JFK football fraud
