Southampton At Wolverhampton Wanderers The Preview 8th Nov 2024 09:10
For the second week running there have been no bones made about things, even more so than last week's game against Everton, this game is a six pointer as the two bottom teams in the Premier League meet up. 3

Let’s not underestimate Wolves.
They have had an horrific opening fixture list.

Arsenal - lost
Chelsea - lost
Forest - drew
Newcastle - lost
Villa - lost
Liverpool - lost
Brentford - lost
Man City - lost
Brighton - drew
Palace - drew

It’s always a good home atmosphere there and will be a tricky game.
Coming away from there with a point would be a good day.

We thought that we had the answers, It was the questions we had wrong.

We will pass the ball around pointlessly in the midfield for most of the game, at some point we'll give the ball to one of their strikers who'll score.

They will leave massive holes in their defence that we'll decide to ignore and instead pass the ball out wide to the wings.

Wolves will win the game 1 or 2 nil and Martin will say how brave we are and point to our 74% possession as improvement

But that VAR goal will be the excuse not zero shots on target.
