Southampton At Manchester City The Verdict on 10:15 - Oct 28 with 1101 views | PatfromPoole | His substitutions continue to make no sense. Has anybody ever seen Sulemana make an impact as a sub? If you are going to put him on, you might as well play him up top in the centre, where his pace may come in handy. His total lack of ball control make playing him on the wing a waste of time. I note that it is being said in The Echo today that Sulemana can only play 20 minutes of a game. We're not exactly seeing much of a trade-off between quality and quantity here. Both are minimal.

He didn’t touch the ball in the 10 minutes he was on.
| We thought that we had the answers,
It was the questions we had wrong. |

I think on Saturday his substitutions were ok, Armstrong for Dibling was tactical, Dibling never really got into the game and we didn't want him getting booked, Aribo for Lallana was ok on the hour mark, Bree for Manning was fresh legs. The too on 87 minutes I would agree look poor because nether have done anything much in the past, but at least he had a go, 1-0 down with 3 minutes left, we could either keep it at 1-0 of have a go at an equaliser and risk losing 2-0, that being the case Onuachu & Sulemana were probably the best options although myself I would probably have thrown on Cornet instead of Onuachu

'In the 87th minute on came the aforementioned Tall Paul and Sulemana, I could see the logic of this, we were 1-0 down and had done a job, at least Martin tried to perhaps snatch a point instead of hanging on to 1-0' What logic is that with only 3 minutes of normal time?

If Sulemana can only manage 20 mins he shouldn't be on the bench. In fact if that's all he can offer then he shouldn't even be at the Club.

I thought that was clear, we were only 1-0 down so he could afford to gamble and try and snatch an equaliser in the final 3 minutes plus the usual 5-7 minutes injury time.

What is clear is Martin has no plan b,he reactive rather than proactive. The way he uses Tall Paul is ridiculous, the guy is expected to score in the ridiculous little time he gives him on the pitch.

What's worrying Nick is RM thinking Onuachu & Sulemana are even good enough for the bench of a PL side, anyone with an half ounce of football knowledge knows they're not good enough for the Dog and Duck pub team. £50 million for two donkeys, couldn't make it up really, if you didn't laugh, you'd | | | | Login to get fewer ads
