I have to chuckle at the bleating of a number of people on social media in July, desperate for the return of “real football” as they’d had to suffer the Euros (as close to “real football” as you can get in my book).

Agree saintwizzler. It has become a crucial game for both managers. We need a good performance at least even if the result is not what we want. The game against Ipswich the following week could be pivotal if we lose to Utd. | | | |
