Ramsdale is not 1st choice at Arsenal because he cannot play the Sweeper/keeper role which they and Russel Martin want to play. Why would we give Alex Mcarthy a contract to persumeably be back up and then sign another, albeit better, back up keeper? |  | | |

If Ramsdale comes it'll only be on loan & on the basis that Arsenal pay half of his salary. There's no way we would pay 120K a week.

What a massive difference it would make to the morale of players and fans to see him in the lineup, not McCarthy. We could actually start believing that we weren't going to be relegated, which is something that seems inevitable with McCarthy or Bazunu in goal. |  |
