George is surely worth at least £500k plus the usual.

At 17yrs old he is a talent and a good career in front of him a prem or top chamionship club with good coaches will bring his game on even more..

Nevett, like a football club is worth whatever someone is prepared to pay for him or it...unfortunately a club in financial difficulties will struggle to sell its players at what may be construed to be their true market value under better circumstances.
File this under " players we have sold at less than their market value" alongside Holt, LeFondre, Murray, Lambert, Brierley, and many others.
Many of these sales were made to cover debts,, and are actually proof that the idea you can successfully run a football club on the basis of selling players and hoping for decent cup draws was wrong then and is wrong now.

Its been mentioned in the press he was going for £300k in Jan. His injury put a stop to that.

It’s only wrong when you don’t get the infrastructure right off the pitch. It worked successfully for a long time, unfortunately we didn’t do enough to ensure the off the pitch revenue wasn’t developed during that time. Then when we inevitably turned rubbish on the pitch, there was little plan to support it.

And there still isn’t.
