Fog 09:38 - Dec 4 with 633 viewsSaintNick

Came in quite quick on Saturday, luckily a bit patchy so not a problem, trying to think if a game has been abandoned due to fog, I do remember we had one a few years ago at St Mary's which must have been close, but was finished and I remember in about 1979/80 we had a home friendly against Luton mid season on a Friday night that was abandoned due to fog half way through, but cant think of any others fog affected.

I did go to a U21 game at Totton against Bournemouth a couple of years ago that was called off as the fog rolled in during the second half

It reminded me of the smoke haze that hung over The Dell when I first started going.

Did you find your house after the Under-21 friendly against Boscombe?

Poll: Does anybody think Saints can get promoted this season?

It was a cup game rather than a friendly, luckily I had read the weather reports, so I tied a piece of string to my front door and so I just had to follow it back, a simple trick that I would recommend anyone use when it is foggy.

It can be tricky getting string in 1 mile balls, so i would suggest buying a couple of 1/2 mile balls and tying them together
