All very sad, in the 1980s I worked on a Kibbutz near Gaza, there was no real border then, people moved freely in and out of Gaza and Southern Israel.
The Kibbutz took fruit and veg to sell in Gaza and we would give people a free lift on the back of our lorry on the return journey we did not care who they were or where they were from and they didn't care either.
We used to go to a small cafe in Gaza, you could get tea on the tables in the street and a beer in the hidden courtyard at the rear, the owner always brought us food out but refused payment we tipped him in dollars and he'd say 'beer is gold!' |  |

Yes, Israel has no history of being a repressed people.
I mean seven million dead Jews can’t be right can they ?
In Israel today 75% of those freed from the death camps ( now they were run by real nazis, the over use of the term undervalues what it really means ) are direct descendants of WW2 and those atrocities. It doesn’t surprise me in the least that from 1946 ( when the UK amongst other nations started placing them in what is now called Israel ) the Israeli people got a bit pissed off when it all looked like it would happen again at the hands of those countries surrounding them, Because if they had their way it would.

I mean Egypt tried it on and failed in double quick time. I don’t support Israel as much as the fake left wing don’t support Palestine.

Yes.Britain did have the mandate under the UN to control what was then Palestine, but it was the US that pushed for the state of Israel to be formed. Britain wanted to assimilate the jews back into European mainstream, but the US wanted them to go to Israel.
I called them Zionazis not out and out National socialists. It was a political party. Not all Germans were members of the NAZI party. They swore allegiance to Hitler as our troops would do to the King.
If the Arab countries had been really determined they could have easily defeated Israel. Israel actually had more troops under arms then did the Arab coalition.

We did everything we could to stop the Jews going to our mandate, we had tens of thousands of them interned in camps even when Israel was created we had tens of thousands of them in camps, their terrorist groups were killing British soldiers and civilians out there.
We had a blockade strung across the Med, the British navy was working overtime to try and keep them out, we were afraid they would destabilise the region, Yanks were pushing for them to go out there, a very famous person said it was because they didn't want them in New York, you couldn't say that today.
At the time the Zionists were performing apparently the majority of Jews were against the creation of a country just for Jews and particularly educated Jews, they just wanted to assimilate in whatever ever country they were in. |  |
