No they didn't. If we hadn't got relegated from the premier league you and many others wouldn't have cared less. The Americans made a few mistake that didn't help the situation but Carvalhal got us relegated when with 9 games to go he thought the job was done and tried to eek out the odd point or 2.

Leroy Fer getting injured cost us our Premier League place. We were motoring along just fine under Carvalhal until we were forced to rely on Ki the sh*thouse as our midfield lynchpin instead. Our points per game average basically halved after that.

Losing Fer and the number of points thrown away in winnable games earlier in the season because Clement was too much of a coward to go for it against the weaker teams at home.

Carvalhal is the easier target, and the wrong one.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Nobody is blaming them for relegation. It’s how you deal with it. Burnley reacted by winning the league.

Let’s see if Southampton and Leeds sell every player of any value and dismantle their category one academies. In fairness to MM and HJ, they built a real legacy there.

Huw Jenkins disastrous last season of spending in the PL (when he no longer had as much skin in the game) put us in a horrible position entering into the Championship. We had no major assets to flog like Southampton have in Ward-Prose and Lavia. Tens of millions in payments falling due not covered by money to come in. Really it's Clement's fault for keeping us up an extra year when we could have had Gylfi and Llorente fund a promotion campaign.

The academy has not been "dismantled" and only dropped from Cat 1 to Cat 2 in the summer of 2020 after two years in the Championship with parachute payments nearing their end and covid effects forcing cutbacks all across the EFL. For a club our size it's the right level, we can't compete with clubs spending millions on youth for those competitions.

Tbf Doc, carvalhal did go all negative trying to eek draws when he got us into go position, to me that's what ultimately cost us our PL place.

He had little choice but to do so. We had no midfield worthy of the name, and when Ayew Jr got himself sent off we were basically screwed.

HJ and MM completely shafted us after doing so well for us.
End of story.

This is an attempt to stop debate and promote a fake agenda .

The Trust were notionally upset at missing an opportunity to sell their shares and make big cash. SCST are unable or unwilling to manage dynamically the money they already a have. They had no imagination and therefore could not think of anything to do with £20m.

Welsh committees of 1000 blokes (and women) are not given to wheeling and dealing. They are football's version of "trainspotters". Questions like "how do you manage funds to mitigate against inflation" draw a blank expression.

My post on the set up of the new board set up has no responses. It goes well above the head of most.

Selling is not easy at the best of times. In 2015 they said "Our shares will never be up for sale". In 2016 during the sale it was "selling our shares is not our preference". Many members were staunchly anti selling. Efforts to sell in 2017 failed and not because of the buyer.

The have chosen 5% "protection" over £20m in cash. They had no idea what to do with cash it seems.

Correction, your post has no responses because people ignore you and your obsession with the trust.

People don't bother with T__L_

Take a STROLL and unjumble that, maybe the thinking time will provide the answers.

it was educational and nothing to do with the Trust. I do not care if I am ignored by one or two people i have no time for.

I called the 1000 Trust members dim for letting their leadership waste 6 years of time and a whopping £400k in legal fees. The case delayed new investors.

I do not expect a pat on the back by any of them.

He did take a swipe at the end about the transfer of GS to Everton and us bringing in Clucas.

Just listened to that bit after reading your post and I agree, it was clearly the yanks holding up the deal, think most felt that at the time and Clueless was a massive mistake for us.

Square one was the health and safety hazard that was the Vetch. (did it have a Health and safety certification?).

Square one was the series of totally unsuitable owners one or two with criminal records.

Square one was getting hammered 0-4 by Kiddeminster Harriers.

People need to look at thing holistically. What he and his team achieved was outstanding. Further more Jenkins and Morgan did not cut and run. Morgan still sponsors the stadium. The legacy is excellent with the infrastructure and club reputation. Jenkins's juniors James Roberts Rodon were sold for £30m. McBurnie another £20m.

Levein and Kaplan have very deep pockets and bought the club with cash. It was not a leveraged buy out like Man Utd and Burnley where the club pays back the loan used to buy the club. This is too complex for many fans to understand.

In my opinion you have to be a particularity dour, unwise and selfish individual not to praise him for his efforts unconditionally. The Swansea club need to up their game.

"Swansea City would like to thank Huw for his service and wish him well in his future endeavours". This is no way near adequate.

When you say back in the championship on a shoestring budget, that's what happened in 2011, the only luxury we had was Scott Sinclair and the money to get him was loaned to the club by MM, he also brought back Leon both catalysts to our promotion.

I haven't told anyone else what to do apart from suggesting you stick to the topic and stop hijacking threads with constant blather about the trust.

If other people have said the same thing it was entirely off their own bat.

Max is hs own person but I would hardly call it cowardice, if people find your relentless SCST posting boring then it's just...BORING.

People can read whatever they please, I have never told anyone what they should or should not read though I did suggest that if people found a post boring or simply were not interested in the topic that they didn't have to answer.

Now Diva, funny you should say that, this is the sland definition,

One who demands that attention be paid to his or her needs, especially without regard to anyone else's needs or feelings

Which sounds much more like you than me with your string of "me, me, me" posts

If you regard people having a different opinion to you and expressing it in a slightly juvenile manner ( all other attempts at rational reasoning having failed ) as bullying it is a bizarre and deeply flawed argument. It is not bullying in any way shape or form. I take it you are an adult man who is participating willingly in a discussion on an internet forum. To use the term bullying is insulting to people who have been bullied in the real world. . I thankfully have never been the subject of the kind of behaviours that can be properly described as bullying and at this moment on this forum neither are you .

One poster is advising other posters to put me on ignore. (every week)

This poster who I have had differences with in the past under a different name is calling me a troll and telling other not to engage. Attempting isolation.

I do not have a go at either of them.

Under a different name? All my names are known, I told people when I was temporarily using anything else so don't be scared to post it. Where did I tell anybody not to engage, I did post a reason why others didn't engage but unless you can provide proof I have told others not to engage I'd suggest stopping saying it. Provide proof and I will happily apologise.

You have a go at people generally, you have insulted the majority of tha fna base at some points and every trust member regularly.

All you have to do is stay on topic, it shouldn't be that hard. Of course threads do sometimes diverge but usually not to the same tired old subject every time.

I could not remember your old name. I do not take notes. You budded up with the Chief. "do no feed the troll" is an invitation not to engage. Max 369 actively encourages posters to put me on ignore every week. I give reasoned arguments. I never criticise individuals.

I criticise fan groups when their behaviour dips below what I consider reasonable. Welsh football fans are prone to ethnic slurs of their own people while activity defending any other group from similar abuse. It is against UK law as "aggravated racial disorderly conduct" . The Trust legal case voted for by members was a disaster. I blame the members.

All thread that have mention of the ownership must include the fans. Swansea fans cannot uncouple from the club when times are bad. They are represented in the boardroom. Swansea fans have no where to run. I point out "collective responsibility".

{Collective responsibility refers to a situation where individual members of a group are held responsible for the group’s actions as a whole. Once a position has been agreed and voted on then, members must abide by that position}.

The fans will argue that they have no clout and no money. But they were worth £22,000,000 in 2016. They lost that through their own bad management.

You have posted on various threads about the SCST, one was a thread about rugby, nothing to do with the Swans or the SCST but as sure as eggs you posted about the SCST on it.

There are numerous other occassions. I criticise you for this and you do not like it yet you feel free to criticise others, hypocrisy much?

As I suggested at the time, start your own thread about the SCST and you can post as much as you like...oh, I forget, you did that and no ne bothered with it. Surely that was a message?

PS, try not to take emoji's literally, they could really spoil your day, for example, posting does not mean I hope you explode or that I am going to explode.

No, the thread wasn't about the rugby trust although they were mentioned in the news article.

The thread was about the WRU putting international fixtures in on the same day as regional fixtures.

Edit, here is the link, see, not about the trust. Now then, please stop hijacking threads. it used to be a bit of a rule, try to stick to topic.

Lets get some perspective

The "sellouts " rescued us for which I will be forever grateful BUT without Mel Nurse HJ et al would not have been able to do it

whilst Huw steered us through those times he also paid himself a massive salary despite the "by the fans for the fans" nonsense he could easily have just taken a £50K per year salary rather than the £500K he did after all he wasnt an proven football club CEO and he had a bad history of running businesses!

All pf the sell outs did well out of the club before their maga profit coup for selling out one of Martin Morgan's companies did the development work for Landore and Fairwood but in fairness MM loaned monies to help cash flow .......Dineen alledgedly supported the stadiums vending services ......whilst the Trust had no benefit from income streams.
Resolven you keep banging on about the trust not wanting to sell .....they werent prepared to sell to the original mob but were not consulted when the next sa;e was lined up....HJ et al all made a nice bob whilst the Trusts "investment" has now been devalued

I dont know who you are but I dont belive you are a real fan otherwise you would be more concerned as fans our share in the club whicfh many of us paid towards is being stolen!
