Tuesday nights games on 14:23 - Apr 3 with 2174 views | TimSaint | It really doesn't matter. We can't be reliant on other teams doing us a favour when we don't turn up or get points for ourselves. Apart from a lack of goals and a poor defence, what has cost us is the fact that we have conceded so many points against teams around us in the league and that has had a huge impact on our league position. Villa - 0 points from 6 Wolves - 0 points from 6 (including losing from 1 up v 10 men !!) Forest - 0 points from 3 so far Palace - 0 points from 3 so far Leeds - 1 point from 6 West Ham - 1 point from 6 Everton - 3 points from 6 (including losing from 1 up) Bournemouth - 3 points from 3 so far Leicester - 6 points from 6 If those wins against Chelsea had been against our rivals instead, the table would read differently. Ultimately it won't change the inevitable, but wins against our rivals affect our league position and could have been timely boosts for morale. Instead we get a good result and follow it up with a limp performance. Yesterday was a real deja vu from a few weeks back. Win at Chelsea, don't turn up against Leeds. Come back well to get a point v Spurs, don't turn up at West Ham. [Post edited 3 Apr 2023 14:30]

I think that just about sums our season up Tim, apart from your omission of obvious cr@p recruitment at both management and playing levels. Well ok, Charlie, Lavia, Endozie look ok. Tall Paul I'm not convinced with as no ball control when it comes to him at ground ish level, but that was a cracking header on Saturday. Would be helpful if we took advantage of that I suppose! Anyway, let's see if we're even further adrift by 10pm on Tuesday. But the real pi55er is that B/mouth re now looking like getting some momentum at the right time and may well escape. If that's the case let's hope we take Leeds and Leicester down with us. Unfortunately I think Everton will also escape - just shows what difference one win makes! So bring on City, Palace and Arsenal (6 points from those???)

Everton have bottle. We don't. That's what Dyche brings you. I'm not his biggest fan but I wouldn't want to get the wrong side of him...

I love Dyche personally. He is exactly what we are missing and wanted him appointed when Ralph went. But no, we had to go down the "who has potential" yes man route.

If we had players with half the football brain that Kane has we wouldn’t be in the shit we are. Like it or not, simulation is part of the game. Kane made sure the Everton player was sent off. Our fockers would hugged, done a wacky dance and swapped shirts.
| We thought that we had the answers,
It was the questions we had wrong. |
