Boris you Git (non qpr) 21:04 - Mar 22 with 10558 views | loftboy | So Boris said “ there was hundreds of aides to thank for working through lockdown, I couldn’t ring them all so a reunion was the only answer” Well you lying moralless arsehole, the very same month my Dad passed away, my mum who he was married to for 65+years was literally banned from leaving her care home and attending his funeral, along with many of his grand children , friends and other relatives due to a restriction on numbers. Whilst all the time they are holding parties and gatherings in Downing Street, I will never ever believe another word that comes out of any Tories mouth and will never ever vote for them again.

He's an utter sociopathic and politically toxic c*nt, and I only wish people who've lost people like you were on this committee for him to front up to.

Boris you Git (non qpr) on 21:57 - Mar 22 with 4819 views | easthertsr | I watched the whole thing this afternoon, he's a lying toerag, an utter disgrace to his office. I got annoyed just hearing him spouting totally unbelievable BS, for someone who couldn't say goodbye to a loved one it must have been unbearable. Who knew that leaving do's were fine during lockdown ? Don't remember him telling us that at one of his briefings!

Boris you Git (non qpr) on 07:41 - Mar 23 with 4484 views | Juzzie | The thing that amazes me the most is none of this is a surprise. He’s been a car crash in (very) slow motion for years yet still got to be Mayor of London, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and Prime Minister. Three very high and coveted positions. What does it say about his own party and the electorate that allows this to happen? I really feel for LB and everyone else, including the Queen, who could not say goodbye to their loved ones properly yet he and others were partying it up. I hope Johnson gets the book thrown at him but i fear he may just about get away with it, they always do.

I don't think Johnson can come back from this and the ERG is a diminishing force. Even the majority of Tories realise his goose is now well and truly cooked. He'll slink off and do the American speaking circuit again.
Boris you Git (non qpr) on 09:37 - Mar 23 with 4148 views | SydneyRs | There are still morons on facebook/twitter etc that support him and think he should be back as PM with their pathetic backboris hashtags etc. He's absolutely taken the piss out of everyone, including his own supporters (perhaps them most of all), in so many ways for years and yet there are still some so ridiculously, unbelievably stupid to support him. This is not a party thing any more. Even those with tory values surely want better than this and the rest of the incompetent rabble running their party?

Boris you Git (non qpr) on 10:18 - Mar 23 with 4035 views | numptydumpty | Likewise Loftboy. My mum passed 2020 and I was not sure when visiting her whether I was allowed to kiss her and give her a hug in all the protective gear. Dad was in hospital at same time as mum but recovered. Came home and I was only allowed visit him outside and at a distance and then he ended up in a care home and on several occasions the track and trace app did not register my negative test by time I got to care home so had him on one side of glass in wheelchair losing weight every day and having talk to him through a closed window with me in the garden and him in the home. Was totally mad. He passed in 2021. Boris lied throughout but I can't see the point of this review. He will always lie and it takes some brass neck BS to come out with not knowing the rules at this time and him being allowed to say it also. I not following this as its just a total whitewash and total nonsense !!! I hope the difficult memories fade for you Loftboy. I got over it now but it was horrendous at the time, like it was for many of us. [Post edited 23 Mar 2023 10:20]

Its not too dissimilar with a former American President. Bonkers.
Boris you Git (non qpr) on 10:32 - Mar 23 with 3970 views | LazyFan | He will go to the US, where he can get his Republican mates (USA Tories) to get him a green card and then run for Senator and later President. He can do that as he was born in New York so, he is eligible to run for President. He will be seen as a soft Trump as he will be endorsed by Trump and his zealots. He will show the rest of the Republicans that he's no Trump and will follow the big business line (which Trump did not always follow). Thus pleasing all sides in the Republican party. Once he becomes their candidate, he will then face off with some weak lamo pathetic Democrat, and in live debates, he has plenty of ammo to shoot them down with ... For example ... "I have run an international city and then a country, you never have even run a village" "I can make deals like Brexit for the country over Europe but still deal with the EU, you have never done such deals" "I have international connections the world over, you have never met the King, let alone the late Queen ... of any country" "I avoided high-interest rates and economic crashes, you have never had to face that" "I am pro markets, I was against the cap on Banker bonuses" "I can be trusted to have my finger on the button, you have never had that responsibility" "I have been commander of a country's armed forces" "I can be trusted to defend the country against Russia, as I did with supporting Ukraine and imposing sanctions" "I can talk to and control China" "I don't believe in socialised medicine as during the pandemic I used the market with private corporate companies for PPE deals" "I am tough on local crime near you as when I was Mayor of London, crime was down" "I am an immigrant returned home and if you are in places of war like Ukraine or Hong Kong then you can come in too, but if you are not legitimate then I will control immigration as I did with Brexit" ... where legitimate really means if you are useful to us you can come in, if not we shall be evil to you as the right-wing way. These are the sort of things he would throw about, and the Yanks love all that. He will make himself out to be a strong leader, forced out by libtards lies when he was fighting Covid (which the Republicans will love). They will love that bumbling UK accent and all the rest. This will take 10 years, but when he becomes the pariah in the UK political circles (which is happening now), then just like Milliband he will feck off to the USA. But unlike those toady politicos, he can actually continue in the USA as he was born there. This is the way.

This is friend of a friend stuff, so appreciate it is something to very much be read in that context, but I have a medical friend with friends working at St Thomas' Hospital at the time he was taken into Intensive Care...and you are quite correct the story is he was barely ill at all, and certainly not ill enough to be in there, compared to ordinary folk. That said, like with all people in power/royals etc...they obviously get way better and more cautious care than any of us ever will. If he had ended up getting worse and worse and dying...well that wouldn't have done very good for public morale at the time.
Boris you Git (non qpr) on 10:33 - Mar 23 with 3969 views | ted_hendrix | A disgusting creature without an ounce of decency In his frame, he literally makes my skin crawl and always has done, I haven't watched one second of his so called partygate grilling for two reasons; 1 nothing will happen anyway and 2 I honestly can't stand the thought of listening and watching him lying again and again. He should be In prison In solitary confinement for the rest of his natural life.

Boris you Git (non qpr) on 10:37 - Mar 23 with 3958 views | slmrstid | Sorry, meant to add to the last one - I sympathise entirely with you LoftBoy and all those who lost loved ones in the Pandemic. I had 2 grandparents die - my Nan on my Dad's side was a very early Covid care home death and in her last conversation with my Dad made a very cryptic comment along the lines of "there's a scandal happening here". It haunts my Dad a bit, my take from it is she knew that Covid positive old people were being sent into the home from the hospitals to die. A lot of residents in that home died. Will never know for sure though. Later on in the pandemic my Grandma on my mum's side had a stroke, and died after 3 weeks in hospital/respite care. In that 3 weeks no-one was allowed to visit her, and she ended up dying alone. The last my Grandad, her husband of nearly 64 years, saw of her was her being wheeled out of the house in an ambulance. The next time he "saw" her she was in a box at the front of a church. He lived a further 18 months before passing away last summer but he never got over what happened. That one haunts me, to be quite frank. Sickening.
Boris you Git (non qpr) on 11:03 - Mar 23 with 3851 views | Superhoop83 | I cannot put into words my visceral loathing for Johnson, so I'm just coming on here to agree with all the sentiments expressed and to offer my sympathy to everyone who was affected by Covid and who followed the rules for the sake of everyone else. It is crystal clear that he wilfully misled Parliament time and again - and he did it again yesterday - so I hope they throw the book at him and he loses his seat as an MP as a result.

Boris you Git (non qpr) on 12:08 - Mar 23 with 3587 views | Esox_Lucius | I haven't watched much of the proceedings thus far but as I understand it, his defence is that he didn't know he was breaking the law(that he was responsible for introducing) and therefore he shouldn't required to answer for what happened. I'm sure Mr Honney, and others that I don't really know on here, would be able to inform us just how robust ignorance of the law as a defence is. There would be a lot less people in prison if it was a solid defence I'm sure. Since his schooldays he has been exposed as a character with no moral scruples, sense of responsibility for his actions, a willingness to lie without compunction and a serial cheat with an unknown number of children. A narcissist of the highest order who I hope will be called to account for what he has overseen as leader of this country.
