Quire Like Sam Mc when I have seen him but do not get why we have kept him on and not sent him back given he has been injured for ages. Is it not typical with a bad injury to send a player back to the parent club? Dunno why we have not done that and put money towards someone who can play

Wing backs an area where we really need to improve next season if we stick with the three centre backs.....instead of playing Chrissy there!

I don't really understand it either. I guess that there's a good chance that we might be able to sign him on a permit like some of our other recent loans. I seem to remember reading on here that we've been a bit unlucky with him in that he had no real prior history of injury before this season.

I don't know why it's been so difficult for us to buy or develope players for our wingback positions. We've mostly opted for experience in this position over youth.

I'd like us to sign him permanently next season if it was possible, as the long term replacement for Wallace. Young with lots of potential sell on value. Norwich would probably though at least want back what they paid for him which supposedly was £3.5m and unless we make a big sale next summer, I don't know if we're in the market for those sorts of numbers for player signings anymore.

He was just starting to settle into the side when he blew his hamstring. If us and Norwich are both in the Championship though, he'll most probably be playing for them.

Good player, young and quick. But prone to injury it seems. Risky paying big bucks for him, but he is very good for his age and can only get better.

If he stays fit then he will play in the Prem. Probably won't be with us as Norwich will use him next year in the Champ.

Presumably he was kept because the medical team thought he would recover in time to play before the end of the season and it was better psychologically to keep him as part of the set up rather than tell him to fck off back to where he came from. Or it may simply have been part of the loan deal.

2 goals in 8 apps, maybe we can put him up front?

Has something happened to him that I have missed? I was expecting him to be in the squad on Saturday after his comeback three appearances for the U23s.

I'm pretty sure i read somewhere on the socials that he's in the sqaud for the U23's tomorrow (Tuesday) as well, which would rule him out of the game vs Blackpool on Weds.

assume that the plan is to make sure he's got some sort of match fitness under his belt before throwing him into the firsts, and is targeting the Blackburn game for a return?

Can we not knock it?

Think he has made just 2 appearances for the U23's. One just 45 minutes, the other a bit longer. Another game is planned for him tomorrow. He has been out with 2 hamstring injuries this season, the second after he probably came back too quickly from the first, so I can understand they are taking this one gradually.

Thanks guys. Just wondered if there was a problem. If he plays again for the U23s, great. He's not our player, so we have to be extra careful.

That's exactly what Warbs said in the presser. He doesn't want to be seen as someone who doesn't look after loan players for obvious reasons. He said he'd play for the U23s and they could assess from there. My. bet is he'll play 45 minutes on Saturday provided that he comes through today okay.

Not sure you can say he's injury prone. Done his hamstring early on in the season and rather fudged his recovery initially so it went again when he came back in and then required surgery. One of those injuries that you need to treat right else you end up like latter day Michael Owen.

He is not injury prone.
