From what I read I couldn’t work out whether after the 12 years ownership reverts back to the club or after 12 they have to renegotiate if they want to continue to play at St Andrews. It is a very short term solution which to me indicates they must have some serious problems even if it is only another FFP breach. The club is now in a very precarious position.

Always a sign of last resort and desperation when a club has to sell it's ground. Opens a can of worms if ever the club falls out with the owner. They could really struggle if they are relegated and when Coventry stop ground sharing.

BBC reports says the the club had already sold it’s ground to the owners for FFP regulations, this is the owners Company they sold it to, selling it on. This means two things the owners must have cash flow problems, they think they will get £2m working capital from the sale and that the rent is going to external landlords, who can increase the rent in future.
The club has now completely lost its ground and will be tenants.

That wound is still raw after all these years. The story told in that blog sounds all too familiar. Obviously the owners at the time did no background research whatsoever before appointing him and agreeing to fund his transfer requests.
