Chris Dunphy Return? on 18:49 - Mar 27 by electricblue
Well if Bottomley was behind removing Dunphy then surely Dunphy will want rid of him.........
Sky Sports understands that DB was the person who told Keith Hill his services were no longer required after that away game at Luton.
This is the same DB who just a few days earlier had said in his Official Site Diary on 28 February 2019 the following:
"Rochdale Football Club prides itself on the way it is run and we do not make kneejerk reactions or decisions. We are aware that results this season, especially at home, have been difficult to accept, but we, the Board of Directors, all believe in Keith, his backroom staff and players, and they have our full confidence and continued backing."
We lost 2-0 at Luton on 2 March 2019 and Keith Hill was sacked on 4 March 2019.

If it was just down to results he would have been sacked before the January window. I believe a big contributory factor was Hill telling the 'hometruths' he mentioned in the post match interview after the Luton game
'Only happy when you've got it often makes you miss the journey'
Chris Dunphy Return? on 16:11 - Mar 27 by tony_roch975
It may be a good thing but before the euphoria blinds us all, let's not forget it was under Chris Dunphy's rule that the Club racked up a massive unsustainable player wage bill and (it is alleged) his opposition to sacking Keith Hill was a factor in his 'retirement'.
