I'm going to hazard a guess, knowing the folk that made it, that had something to do with the multiple copyright infringements, the same thing that ultimately led to the person who made it having his account on vimeo shut down too.

Would be great if someone had downloaded it somewhere and then reuploaded it to be fair...

Though that would make a great poster or T Shirt, reading it doesn't have the same impact as when Brian Sewell narrated the original 'Choose Southampton' video.

It really doesn't, the combination of the old footage and the vocal track from Southampton's own Alan Whicker was magnificent
