I'm showing my age here!

1) Stan Bowles

2) Johann Cryuff

3) Alfredo Di Stefano

I did see Pele play in a friendly, but I didn't consider him playing against an English third division club counted (Aston Villa).

If you've not see Di Stefano at all, try to find a copy of the Real madrid -- Eintract Frankfurt European Final from 1960. That's a great place to start.

A fornt three of Di Stefano, Puskas & Gento. Kopa (top scorer in the world cup finals of 1958) couldn't get in the side!

1. Stan Bowles
2. Messi
3. Maradonna (Edges it over Messi due to differences in performance levels at the World Cup)

Must be the same age!

1. Rodney ( emotional, really Gerry Francis)

2. George Best ( sadly saw his last game for Man U against us, not good).

3. Pele ( at bloody Fulham of all places, they were playing Santos in a midweek friendly, Garrincha? was on the wing, great night).

Santos played two friendlies here. I saw the other one at Villa!

Why they played two clubs that weren't in the top division I have no idea.

I think it was a Harlem Globetrotters sort of thing, we turn up with a full side, you give us loads of dosh, and then back to Brazil.

It was a great game at Fulham, and worth every penny, they, (Santos) had a great team back then, apart from Garrincha and Pele, I'm guessing their must have been some other "greats" in their side that night.

Full house by the way
