Yep, great prep for the T20 World Cup later this year

Established and experienced line up, but still room for another batsman to claim a place in the side for Malan/Denly

Banton says hi! Getting Archer back in the side will be important on the bouncy pitches in Australia.

Fair play to both sides. Three really close games.

T20 is not real cricket, it's brainless slogging and fireworks.

It’s anything but brainless. It’s highly-pressured decision making for both batsman and bowler.

Look at Bairstow’s split-second alteration when moving across his stumps to play a leg shot, but still managing an off-side shot when the ball deviated. That was nothing but absolute skill.

As long as it co-exists with Test cricket, I have no issue with it at all.

I suspect that's wasted on someone who'd make such a brainless post

It's the cricketing equivalent of a penalty shootout.

It's absolutely nothing like the cricketing equivalent of a penalty shoot-out, either in format or intention

Today's match was "real" T20 cricket, nothing more, nothing less

it can only be good for the promotion of cricket .

Test cricket is cricket in its purest form and 50 overs is also worth watching but T20 bash and dash leaves me cold I did not watch any of the current series v SA but many did and enjoyed it

This is not the time for bickering.

I have never understood why in limited overs they limit the number of overs a bowler can bowl but not the number of overs a batsmen can bat. Wouldnt it be fairer to allow a bowler to bowl throughout the full 20 (or 50) overs (so up to 10/25 from one end) just as a batsman (batter if you want to include womens cricket as well) can remain at the crease throughout the full amount of overs.

But cricket in itself is weighted in such a way towards the batter.

All bowlers must bat, but not all batters must bowl. It is a mismatch of ability that seldom occurs in any other sport.
