Andrew Colwill Garage Doors- Gorseinon on 21:59 - Jan 20 by BrynCartwright
Am really enjoying your continued interest in my new hobby Jinxo!
Don't get me wrong; traditional manual garage doors perform a perfectly adequate job in providing security for the garage contents of their operators.
The old door worked very well for 3 decades with no maintenance whatsoever. I was quite sad to see the old boy go.
However, now I am quite happy to press a button inside the house, and by the time I get to the garage 'Hey Presto' everything is open. Truly is the bollox.
However, in the event of a prolonged power cut, or an exchange of thermonuclear weapons generating an electro-magnetic pulse that fries electrical components we will be well and truly stuffed.
I think AC also offers traditional manual doors, so he doesn't just do the "Hollywood' version.
He sounds too good to be true, Bryn.
Is he a big Swans fan?

We didn't have that long a chat about the Swans as I was so enthralled with his garage doors.....
...it was like being in a trance...
...but he seemed to have a fair old 'gist' of what was going on with our team at the time.
Does he do revolving doors, to help the swans managerial doors?
Ever since my son was... never conceived, because I've never had consensual sex without money involved... I've always kind of looked at you as... a thing, that I could live next to... in accordance with state laws.

Hold on a sec Bryn, I didn't realise you actually meet the man at the top of AC (aka Andrew Colwill) Garage Doors Ltd., and not one of his many underlings? That's akin to me walking into Debenhams and being served by Coco Chanel herself (albeit she's been dead for 40+ years), as opposed to one of those orange creatures. Did you get an autograph, selfie etc.? I do hope so.
Clearly the organisation has a clever global PR policy and brand identity, in that the CEO occasionally gets close and personal directly with an end client (no disrespect Bryn). You may find yourself featured on not just the UK, but global website. Clever stuff. That really is one to tell the grandkids about Bryn, also don't forget to gain even more yield at bars, pubs etc. with customers aching to hear tales of your celeb experience and are more than happy to buy you drinks, meals etc. for the undoubted privilege. I'm in awe.

I doubt if they’d believe him.
“Yeah - I suppose Steve Jobs came round and installed some extra RAM in your laptop too, Bryn!”

Mr Kootch, in this scene from the telly is actually Mr Andrew Colwill in real life. giving advice on revolving doors.....
I’m assuming health and safety in 2020 would prevent any demise similar to said Bryan Cartwright at the hands of the twins ~ and any purchaser would receive guarantees that death by these doors is not possible in a similar manner ?
You can shout from the tree tops about this new world life improving gadget, but I’m feeling you may well have not looked in to it any more deeper than you would when buying the latest mobile phone.
One further nugget of advice Bryn - given my earlier point (I refer to my response some moments ago) - given the personal nature of the erection of the door, by Andrew Colwell (of AC garage doors Ltd.) himself, the garage could well now befall a similar fate to that of the Banksy garage in Port Toilet. Perhaps some protective fencing, crowd control arrangements and a good agent might be in order? Nothing on national media as yet, so you still have time.

FFS, mun! Banksy’s a huge Swans fan and doubtless reads this site. He’s probably painting a giant cock and hairy gonads on Bryn’s pride and joy as we speak.

Got divorced years ago because I was going on about remote control garage doors so much.
The girlfriend loves it though as she doesn't have to get out now to open up the door for me.
Luxury.
As no one else has mentioned it, I think we should take a moment to appreciate the selflessness of your good self, Bryn.
Putting aside your own needs, you’ve wholly financed the purchase of an Andrew Colwill (A/C) remote control garage door, just so your girlfriend no longer has to get out to open the door for you.
It's the romantic touches like this that keeps the fires burning in a relationship. Films have been made of less subject matter.
I hope she appreciates the sentiment, I really do. She is truly a lucky woman.

Let’s just hope she doesn’t leave the lovely Bryn for a man with a bigger... garage.

Sorry to bombard you with all these questions and comments Bryn, but it's so exciting isn't it!
Anyway, back on point. What about an official opening? I'm sure Matt Lucas would don the baby costume and drums to appear as George Doors one final time, given the prestige of the event?

Does the remote control come with batteries?
Funny enough I had a garage door fitted around 8 months ago with this guy. Really good quality, he matched other prices I had, the prices I was getting was for single skin doors, he matched their price but gave a double skin and it was insulated.
However only one fob works, I think one did not come with Batteries 😂

I'm surprised that Andrew Colwill (of AC Garage Doors Ltd.) didn't just match, but better the other prices you had received.
Do you think you might have been fobbed off?

Disappointing. My illusions have been shattered if not shuttered.
If I ever get a garage I might have to reconsider using Andrew Colwill (of Andrew Colwill Garage Doors Ltd.).
The penny pinching bastard.

Jinxo, you may be going over the top a bit about Andrew here. On meeting him you are struck by how perfectly normal he is. I think you may be putting him on a pedestal a bit.
Without getting on with the general public like you or I, he would never have developed one of the biggest garage door providing businesses in the general Swansea area.
Also, I didn't know Donald Trump works in Debenhams.

Sound advice. Wow - "Andrew". First name terms - impressive marketing and customer cultivation techniques. Bryn, I don't like to snitch but there have been aspersions that you are in fact the great man (Andrew Colwill of AC garage doors Ltd.) himself. I'm sure you can provide evidence to the contrary, but probably wisest to turn the other cheek, and take it as a compliment.
