My old man told me there was a docker with half an ear missing - he was known as 18 (months).
Barry Davies who played for Scarlets and Ospreys had the same nickname, plus "6 months" after he lost half his ear after being knocked down staggering out of the "Riv" one drunken Saturday night.

3 hours later...
"How's the knee Al?"
"Great mate great mate, I'll use that again I will, use it again" :)

Apparently, he would hit kids over the head with one.
Neb - real name Ben but he was a bit backwards. I know that’s not PC but it was a long time ago!
Dai cul de sac, similar to Dai 30 mile an hour... he lived in a house with a thirty mile an hour sign on the pavement outside his house. When anyone asked him where he lived, he'd explain and always end with...'it's the house with a thirty mile an hour sign outside'.
