I'd be surprised if he makes the end of the month the way this is heading.

It just feels like they're at cross purposes. Hoos and Ferdinand didn't want Holloway, not convinced Fernandes and Tune wanted Hasselbaink, not convinced Ferdinand wanted McClaren.

a couple of wins and everything will calm down hopefully

a couple more defeats and it's hard to look at anything other than league one

if we were to get relegated just how crushing would it be to us and could we bounce straight back ?

My money is on Ferdinand going in the next fortnight as club look to appease angry fans and look like they are doing something, McClaren getting a load of old players that he wants and him gone by November. Relegated by April

FFS. Only at QPR. These people have destroyed this club. Absolutely criminal that any idiot with more money and ego than sense can buy a football club that's been in existence for 100+ years, treat it like an expensive toy and leave it in the bin.

I can't really believe they'd sacrifice Ferdinand to keep Mclaren. For the past few seasons the LF/LH duo have represented the closest quality this club has to sanity.

I'm still a believer in the rule of "give it ten matches before you judge how the season's going." But, if we haven't got at least one win under our belt by this time next week, I'll be very surprised if we don't have a new boss when we play Brum.

...so who is appointing the managers?

A simple question as I'd expect that to be a football decision made by the person responsible for football matters.

If that really is Sir Les' remit, then how can we possibly appoint managers that he doesn't agree with?

...Also, if McClaren had the opportunity to refuse to operate in the markets we can afford, how on earth did he get the job?

As always with QPR, none of this adds up...

Can we go out yet?

People were saying relegation from the Premier League was a good thing; opportunity to re-group. If we go down again it will be an absolute disaster. With the rules as they are we're absolutely buggered as it is. Can't see any way out of this. The only tiny glimmer is the owners go, Amit buys it lock stock and barrel and puts a 10 year plan in place to stabilise and then move forward.

I have been saying 15 games , a third of the season . It sounds ridiculous really but already I get the feeling that they are not playing for him , hopefully I am wrong about that .

Naturally the next question is "ok who should come in ? " and in answer to that I have nothing ....

Sounds like a complete lack of joined up thinking, with conflict across the entire senior management team on what our strategy should be. Ferdinand and Hoos didn’t want Olly because he was embarrassing the club with his emotional and child like outbursts, really? If that were true, discipline him and/ or, get him some help. He had a lot of strengths, but needed help with his weaknesses.

Just when we didn’t need it, McLaren is now taking us in a completely different direction to the one we assumed he would be and it doesn’t look like he has full support from upstairs.

Just what the Fock is going on exactly?

Every man for themselves now as the ship starts to sink.

Tuesday could be D day for QPR.

But who actually makes the managerial appointments ?

Is it Les ? Hoos ? Ruben ? Fernandes ?

Surely the DoF model means the manager doesn't identify the players? I thought we were told the manager says what he needs and the DoF identifies the options (based on finances as laid out by LH) and then goes and gets the best one at the best deal.

I know people sigh and look to the sky when people ask what LF does, but seriously, if he doesn't have a say on the manager or identify players, wtf does he do? If he's identifying managers/players but being ignored, why does he put up with it?

And there lies the problem with this club
We could have interviewed Ross , hirst, potter , the cowley brothers but Teflon Tony wanted his mate Steve , until people get it into their heads that tune group are the problem, this club will never get out of this never ending mess it finds its self in , I said last week that les is a bystander and the descions are going over his head
We must get rid of this board

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore

They won't change managers now even if we lose the next few as no new manager can change anything in January so would fully expect Ferdinand to carry the can for a bad transfer window.

I did say that was the big fear with McClaren he has a dreadful record in the transfer market and that was the key for us doing well this season having a good window

True.

I'd assume LF had final say on hiring the manager too, but who really knows?

In any case firing a club legend now, especially after letting Holloway go, would surely lead to pitchforks a flaming torches outside South Africa Road.

Ferdinand has been ignored/overruled on every managerial appointment so far.

Big thing he has done is improve scouting young players and the kind of players being brought in at under 23 level has been really good with some like Manning, Eze, Smyth and bright Samuel making it to the first team.

Holloway seemed to want to go along with Ferdinands wishes of a younger squad and more hungry lower league type players but McClaren never fitted that brief and is looking in the reserve teams of premier league clubs which served us so well in the past

Chances of Big Mick riding in to save the day ever increasing.

Lose at home to Bristol City and I think the crowd will be demanding McLaren goes

The whole thing just seems a bit of a mess really. The recruitment was poor all summer regardless of the financial restrictions we were under, and that means McClaren hasn't got the players he needs to play the passing football he wants. As unpopular as it is, that blame has to go to Les, because at the end of the day he overseas the football side of things and should have either warned them that McClaren football wouldnt work with Lynch etc, or secured at least some reinforcements on the small budget we do have. We could all see that the squad was weak before the season started and maybe a Big Sam type manager was what we needed (god that hurts to say).
If we loose the next three i cant see McClaren lasting much longer. But who do we bring in next....what about if they then loose 4 games? The whole things a mess and is upsetting to watch. Still think Holloway needed to go, but the new man seems to be a very poor choice considering the squad available to him.

Whole thing is a fkin joke.

Ferdinand* wanted the fckin tea boy when we still could have stayed up and had future and hope plus also waited until it would actually have been better to keep that CNT CNTknapp to get rid of the CNT who is incidentally a fckin cnt the cnt which to me was politicking. Plus we should have done everything in our power to keep Warnock the second time yes Blah Blah he wanted to be closer to home etc. bollox they could easily got him to stay after the Reading game.

So now Ferdinand and Mclaren aren't getting om FFS

*Oh and I don't think he is EVIL Les and has done a good job apart from the big decisions which to be fair have probably had had some Bungle input

We need a manager who's going to work with the current philosophy of a younger squad and buying low and selling high It doesn't seem like McClaren wants to do that .

For me it's not the results it's the fact were going away from all the good we did last season

Yes we maybe panicking too early but we've seen it all before and this seems like it did under Hughes and we know how that turned out
