Premier League rights sold - £4.46bn (2 still left to sell) on 09:34 - Feb 14 by swanforthemoney
Presumably they still have to sell International rights. Could China rights they actually go up from the last package? they might make up some of the difference
Sure, and the international component of Premier League revenue has certainly been going up.
However, the Chinese subscription TV market is without doubt more price sensitive than say the UK maket. Furthermore some of the league's reflected glory may start to wear off if less money in the UK game starts to result in the biggest stars going elsewhere.

Long may they continue. Most would be happy to pay a fair price for games we want to see. In this day and age why don't they just do it ?
I think this relates to government legislation dating back to the 60's that no 3 o'clock games can be shown live on UK TV channels. Perhaps it falls under this umbrella. It was originally passed due to the impact they though it would have have had on attendances. Maybe this needs to be repealed or altered before any package can be offered?
If you want a vision of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face--forever.

It's the international rights where the Premier League see the monetary growth compared to the relative stagnation seen on the domestic front
