There have always been booking fees it use to be £3 online even more if you payed by credit card. The EU has banned the extra fees for using credit cards. TicketMaster have to pay for their operation they are a business so they have spread the cost across all tickets. It is still cheaper to buy online, it used to be £3, now it is £1.50. I suggest to visit the WEB sites of other football clubs and see that they charge as we..
One solution would be to include the booking fee in the ticket price. I.E £12 but I guess to to some £10 plus a £1.50 booking fee is a rip off but £12 per ticket is fine.

There never used to be booking fees when paying cash at the ticket office. And it used to be £3 per transaction, now its £1.25 per ticket online and £2.50 over the phone or in person. So if you buy more than two tickets online you’re worse off. Other clubs don’t charge as much as us.
£11.25 for a adult ticket. Cheap. Best get there and support your team.
Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

How about not looking at what other clubs do or what gigs often cost. How about doing what's right and creating some damn good karma for a change and not being grubby or hiding behind "look what they do" and making a song and dance over the fact that as a club we will not charge the fans a fee not now not ever!!!!!

It is to cover ticketmaster cost.
It's actually a way of charging more than the advertised price of a ticket.
It is none of our concern if the the club wish to employ Ticketmaster or any other subcontracter to administer their ticket sales rather than directly employed staff. But don't have the cheek to advertise a price for a ticket then add on extras for subcontractors
Are the staff in the ticket office employed by ticket master? If not then the old Ticketmaster argument falls to pieces anyway for direct face to face sales.
I do recall the club forking out fortunes for new ticketing software on occasions over the years so why the need for ticketmaster anyway?
