What is the most pressing issue after the huge successes of all our young age groups over the past few months is of how to ensure that these obviously talented young players are given the chance to progress in the game and not stagnate and become disillusioned by a lack of opportunity at a higher level. You only need to look at previous England age group squads to find that too many of these players lose their way after looking as if they might be the real deal

Managed to watch a bit of it today and England looked wonderful, full of running, passing and moving - a joy to watch. Really surprised - they looked a proper team.
Its a BRILLIANT goal to cap a BRILLIANT start by Rochdale - Don Goodman 26/08/10

More the case that the money spent by the Premier League clubs hinders the development of the u17-u21 team members establishing themselves in a top club. Tottenham, Everton seem to try and Liverpool & Man Utd have the odd one through but too many clubs prefer to pay for an established foreign player.

Fantastic win ,but how did the second Spanish goal stand. keeper takes goalkick and there lad receives ball inside 18 yard box. is it me or have rules changed.

The rules have changed in that the box doesn't need to be clear, but I think the player cannot touch the ball until it is outside the box.
