PC will have the players switched on for this and they won't underestimate the very real threat that Sunderland possess - especially from Defoe.
If we play to our ability and do the basics well, the rest will follow. It's a golden and unexpected opportunity that I hope we take full advantage of.
This. PC has found his best team and has them focused on performing well. If we keep up the performances of the last 3 games then we'll make enough decent chances to score a couple and with our defence finally starting to work effectively (only one spawny goal in 3 games) then we should be able to contain a poor Sunderland team.
Let's not take anything for granted, but also let's not dress Sunderland up to be a top 6 team. A win on Saturday will probably be enough to keep us up ...

Why give Montero a new contract and then ship him out for £2 million? Plus, I also think PC will like Gomis, he's of similar ilk to Llorente. The Siggurdsson move however, I can see.
I don't think there will be many new faces over the Summer. I can see us keeping players we've loaned out this season and rolling out to the press "its like having a new signing".
A player I can see leaving though is Baston, which will make lovely room for Gomis on the bench and the way Linesman work these days Gomis is in for a bloody treat!

We have to get something. If we don't, Palace go in knowing they're safe and Hull go in knowing they suddenly have a chance. Not a good situation, especially as I think Hull could get something v a Spurs team who will have nothing to play for.

I don’t know why some people think a draw would be a good result. Any result that takes away the ability to control our own destiny is not good at all.
