Half decent tv 06:36 - Apr 29 with 681942 views | LadbrokeR | I watched the last episode of line of duty and thought that was good. Undercover has finally grabbed by attention. I quite like some of the investigative programmes Stacey Dooley does. However I can't wait for the next series of people just do nothing.
Half decent tv on 00:06 - May 5 with 6044 views | Toast_R | Just watched the final episode of Homeland and it was a very clever way to end the series. What a barnstorming 8 seasons it's been, one of the best dramas of all time. Saul Barenson, possibly one of the best characters ever written for TV. I will certainly miss that show.

Good call on Saul & agree with your ending review. Few wobbles in middle of its run but latest seasons have been pretty good. Carrie’s gurning did get on my wick at times but Saul is great actor.

I have really enjoyed Homeland from start to finish although the latter series never quite reached the heights of the first two. Brilliant ending, I never saw that coming.

It did kind of lose a little bit of it's thrust when they wrote Quinn out of it as he was also a huge and complex character who would never cease to amaze, but as all great series do it evolves over seasons.

I found the perv very funny in Derek, I'm easily pleased though
Half decent tv on 22:49 - May 5 with 5716 views | MrSheen | I’m delighted to have found there are another two seasons of Baron Noir on Prime. The first season was excellent. It’s about a French machine politician who’s both highly moral and deeply unscrupulous. The Parti Socialiste must dream of those days.

Have wondered about that in the past but I read different views on whether it is politically biased?

Ummmmm...you could watch it yourself and make up your own mind, perhaps? It's an Israeli-made show, and the core characters are the Israeli security team, who you get to know much better than the other side. Like most violent long-running series (Sons of Anarchy, The Shield, Jason Bourne, James Bond, etc, etc), the leads have a miraculous life-expectancy compared to their opponents, but this is probably more justified given the asymmetric nature of this particular conflict. It's admirably frank about how dirty the war is (though I don't know how realistic it is) and how compromised everyone is on both sides. I find it sensitive in setting out the motivations and emotions of its Palestinian characters, torn between a sense of raging injustice and a desire to find a quiet life, somewhere, somehow. It's also crazily exciting, if that helps. [Post edited 6 May 2020 15:22]

Yep, brilliant show. Nice summary Mr Sheen. I also like the fact it's gritty without being too gratuitous. [Post edited 6 May 2020 18:44]

Sorry if it came across as unnecessarily snippy, Brian. It's fantasy, but it's wildly entertaining.

Half decent tv on 07:19 - May 7 with 5342 views | LadbrokeR | So I’ve been immersing myself in Netflix box sets to while away lockdown time. I’ve watched designated survivor which is good. Queen of the South another series worth watching . Ozark probably the best of the lot. I’ve just started watching mind-hunter
Half decent tv on 08:32 - May 7 with 5317 views | MrSheen | Has anyone tried Animal Kingdom? I loved the film but was a bit huffy when they transplanted the series from Australia to California so never got round to it.

Just binged ep 1 to 4, I have to say in terms of bloodshed and gore, this makes Game of Thrones look like the A- Team. Phenomenal series.
