I know that question wasn't directed at me, but the way I see it with Robinson is that I would like him to manage QPR, but not for the job we need a manager to do right now. We need someone to come in, change things up and attempt to stay up this season, that's the priority. If we managed to do that, or especially if we went down, I would then want to emply someone like Robinson and give him a 5 year deal/plan to achieve regardless of division. It should be to help build up all the areas we are lacking that he's overseen in his time at MK. The infrasructure, youth development, squad improvement, inject an ethos and way of playing that is specifically QPR. He's done that brilliantly from a blank canvas at MK Dons and there's no reason he can't replicate it if he's given enough responsibility and backing.
Never happen though, not under the current ownership. It's counter productive. | |
