What is Bony's market value. 21:40 - Apr 28 with 16043 views | Jokeren1943 | This summer several clubs will try to buy Bony. The Swansea board will do what they can to keep him. Swansea got him for 12 million. What do you think his market value is now after his first season in Premier League? Beside what he is worth - what do you think his price should be, to let him go? If someone scored 24 goals for Man U, or Chelsea, what would they be worth. If some club wants bony, I think they should start with a bid of around £25 million.

What is Bony's market value. on 20:28 - Apr 29 with 1990 views | JackoBoostardo | Do we really still have this "small club mentality" with our so called knowledgeable fans? We're a bigger club than we were five years ago. We're in the big boys league now! So why is a punt at £30+ million so ridiculous for many on here? How much did Arsenal pay again for Mesut Ozil again? - And how many has he scored to justify his price tag? (It was £42.5 million by the way). People here need to get real - big leagues get big money. Big money coming to our club is a good thing. Additionally, undervaluing players is not good for our club.

What is Bony's market value. on 14:57 - Apr 29 by Drizzy | I wouldn't take these threads too seriously. There were some on here suggesting Michu was worth £40m last season. Absolute nonsense. Bony is hovering around £20m at the moment if you look at it objectively. Whether we would accept that or not is a completely different story. |
There is absolutely no way Swansea would sell Bony for around £20 million. He is a player who will only get better. If Bony had signed for Chelsea for £12 million last summer and then scored 24 goals with still two games to go, he'd be now valued at £30 million plus, for some reason Swans fans are still stuck in the lower divisions. It's not as if all his goals have come against sh*te like Cardiff either. Man City. Spurs. Liverpool. Man Utd. Everton. Arsenal. He's got a proven track record against the best sides in this division. £20m? Yeah, right.

And let's not forget it took him a while to settle in, which makes his 24 goals so far even more remarkable.

That doesn't make sense. I said 30M because I don't want him sold yet you think he's worth 20M but don't think we'd accept it. That means he's worth more, surely? At the end of the day, he's worth what we'd accept.

What is Bony's market value. on 20:48 - Apr 29 with 1953 views | PozuelosSideys | We sold Joe Allen for £15m, SS for £7m ffs.. dont sell Bony short. Theres a premium on top class strikers and he is one of them. Go around the other clubs and see what their fans think. Thats a pretty good indicator of what we have on our hands here.

What's realistic about the club selling a striker like Bony for a mere £8m more than we paid?

What is Bony's market value. on 23:58 - Apr 28 by DwightYorkeSuperstar | Players very rarely transfer from small clubs to big clubs for huge sums of money. People keep mentioning Higuain commanding a £37m fee or whatever it was, that is because he has proven himself at a big team. I cannot think of many strikers who have moved from a small club to a big club for a huge amount of money like the figures being thrown around in this thread after just one season in the league. |
Andy Carroll Newcastle to Liverpool £35m? Newcastle may have a big stadium and fan base but are no longer thought of as anything other than a mid table club.

Cheap shot. Like I said £20-£25m. The question isn't how large an offer we'd accept, the question is how much he's worth.

FFS - His value is dictated by the offers we receive clubs. If there's demand - his value will increase. Should we just sell as soon as someone offers £20mill? Or should we hold out for more? Geez, some people here just don't get it! To Swansea - he is worth a lot more! Other clubs need to show their recognition of the value.

What is Bony's market value. on 09:53 - Apr 30 with 1683 views | hammy | This is obviously not a simple estimation of his worth. I assume that the Swansea board are not looking to sell him at the moment, so the initial drive would need to come from either a buying club or Bony himself. No doubt an initial price would be mentioned and negotiations would go from there. It would then depend on which other clubs would get involved to drive the transfer fee up. At the moment it would seem that unless Bony wanted to move on then he would stay for next season, but I'm sure that he will be tempted by a few offers at least, which could offer double his salary for instance. So this could be a major factor. Personally I think he is worth a minimum of £25M and in a bidding process could get in the region of £30=35M. Just a thought, but imagine that we had managed to get Aspas instead of Bony at the start of the season ... I think we would be preparing for Championship football by now.
