I have to say when McNaughton came on yesterday I did get that feeling of 'our work here is done' And Zaha and Jones look completely out of their depth too?

Spot on, they couldn't handle us and especially so in the 2nd half, it was great to see us play more expansively than the narrow stuff we had been playing, lovely stuff.

Jones is nothing special. Never has been. Zaha's got talent but should he be learning PL football in a relegation scrap?

The Vermin have already turned on ickle Ole. Shame.
Trouble at the Liberty on 10:37 - Feb 9 with 2254 views | Tom1912 | Zaha has the raw talent, but it is going to require a lot of nurturing. He came up against an experienced right back in Rangel who knew exactly how to handle him. Jones looked like he always has. Big, bit of a handful, but no real class about him at all. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Zaha did the grand total of naff all yesterday and to think I had concerns about him after hearing that when he came on against Norwich last week he turned the game, well I find that strange after his performance yesterday, he was anonymous. As for Jones, well Im glad we didn't follow up on our interest in him. [Post edited 9 Feb 2014 10:41]

Five games, that must be some kind of record? I had a text from a Cardiff supporting mate of mine "Nathan Dyer scored with a f*cking header that's how bad we are" I haven't yet replied to tell him that they've conceded a Dyer header before...

Trouble at the Liberty on 11:14 - Feb 9 with 2048 views | Dull1Thomas | The only Cardiff players who I could name after the games were Marshall (because of his performance last week I thought he'd have more about him), Caulker (form obvious reasons but as someone else on here has posted "what has happened to ..") and Bellamy (who was a hit the bar and several of our players). They were not bad, we were just too much for them.

Trouble at the Liberty on 12:22 - Feb 9 with 1644 views | icecoldjack | Routs done really well yesterday, very happy for him,to see his raw emotion after scoring that goal and the way he was punching the air and surrounded by his team mates was just a beautiful sight ! Cardiff look in trouble to me,by all accounts Norwich were the better team last week too, we have to say that one swallow doesnt make a summer but im very happy that Monk got off to a great start, not much change in how we do things but thats the whole point really. If the guys keep beleiving and working hard then we can get wins ,the crowd were immense i thought and the Jack faithful can make the difference ,especially in our home games. We lost ourselves but we found ourselves !!

After yesterday, we have a new secret agent. Step forward Agent OGS. His selection yesterday was naiive at best. Wanted to rely mostly on experience (hence McNaughtin brought on!!!) and Whittingham instead of Noone, their in-form player. Frankly, don't think it would have mattered much because in that mood there was only going to be one winner.
