Port Vale 0-0 Gillingham

Oh dear. This was tedious to watch. A dismal, turgid goalless draw that neither side deserved to win. What has happened to us? Where has that glorious, wonderful Port Vale of August and September gone? Micky Adams has some work to do to get us right back on track.

Changes were made for this game after the disappointing performances in the last two league games at Oxford and Hereford, with Ritchie Sutton and Rob Taylor both starting.

And what can you say about the game? It was dreadful from start to finish. A mind-numbing, painful experience which was hard to stomach. Nothing worked for us. We were woeful. Some players - Anthony Griffith, Justin Richards are two good examples - need to spend a bit of time on the bench, they simply do not justify a place in the starting line up, and a little break may well do them the world of good.

Still, lets not be too negative. We are still heading for promotion, and we'll get over this little spell of poor form. Gooarn Vale!!!!!!!
