M62 closure affecting Dale fans

Dale fans travelling back from Milton Keynes this weekend could be hit by the M62 being closed in West Yorkshire.

As part of bridge removal works, the M62 is being closed between Juntions 25 and 26 this weekend from 9pm in both directions. The bridge is situated near Hartshead Moor services, between the Brighouse and Bradford junctions.

Many Dale supporters will not be affected, as travelling straight back after the game should see Dale supporters clear of this area before the motorway is closed, but those supporters taking the M1 / M62 route will face the risk of diversions if they hang around after the game or stop at services on the way home.

Alternatively, supporters can head home via the M6.
