Dawson off to West Brom?
There are increased murmurings suggesting that Craig Dawson is on the verge of a switch to West Bromwich Albion ahead of Tuesday's Transfer Window deadline.
The rumoured deal suggests an initial fee of £600,000, with add ons that could see the transfer fee eventually double. That said, it's 99.9% likely that the words "undisclosed fee" will be attributed to the deal.
Perhaps more importantly, the deal suggests that Dawson will be loaned back to Dale up until the January transfer window or end of the season depending on which version you have heard.
Talk of a switch to West Brom circulated on Sunday, with talk of a medical taking place down at their Hawthorns ground.
Of course, there have been rumours of a Dawson switch to upwards of a dozen clubs over the past few months, so official confirmation will be awaited.
