Hartlepool at home

Dale will kick off the new season with a home game against Hartlepool United.

So as we embark on pastures new, there's a certain irony that we play the one side in the Football League that we have played more times than any other.

The game will take place at Spotland on Saturday 7th August at 3pm.

Dale fans willhave fond memories of our lastgame with Hartlepool which was something of a fiery encounter with three sendings off with Dale running out as 2:0 winners.
