Wembley Tickets On General Sale From Monday Lunchtime

Southampton FC have been busy since Saturday morning when the first tickets for the game against Leeds United next Sunday went on sale, since then they have been going through the qualification process.

With 35,667 tickets allocated for the trip to Wembley and only a little over a week to sell them and more to the point get them out to the supporters, it was not surprising that Saints acted quickly once the final whistle on Friday evening had been blown.

Tickets went on sale at 11am on Saturday morning, barely 12 hours since the game had ended and the last supporter had left the stadium.

For obvious reasons there was a qualifying process, starting with season ticket holders who have been to away games and then ending with the last of those who are paid members or Junior Saints members.

It should be noted here that those in the earlier categories can still buy their ticket after their designated slot, if for some reasons they had been unable to do so.

That ends at Monday lunchtime and at 12.30pm tickets go on General sale.

But that does not mean anyone, these days you have to be on the supporter base, ie register to buy a ticket, initially they are to those supporters who have bought a ticket for at least 1 game this season either home or away.

This slot ends at 2pm and then it is open to anyone who has bought a ticket since season 2021/22, ie the last three seasons.

With around 20,000 season ticket holders and at least 8,000 non season ticket holders per game on a revolving basis, this could well see a sell out by this afternoon and it will give some of the younger generation a chance, the game against Walsall saw many season ticket holders give the game a miss, but there were still 22,000 in the ground and many of those were young Saints fans who didn't often get the chance to go, this could enable them to now attend the game.
