With less than 14 hours to go before the transfer window slams shut as the TV pundits like to say, there are still a number of players linked with moves in and out of St Mary's, here we firstly take a look at who might move in and out and then we will update throughout the day.

It is also a place where you can add any updates yourselves using the comments section below for a one stop overview of what is happening for Southampton supporters.

So who is likely to arrive at St Mary's ?

Ross Stewart (Sunderland) - The striker is said to have travelled South yesterday for a medical after Sunderland accepted Saints bid in the region of £10 million.

**Taylor Harwood-Bellis (Man City) - The 21 year central defender has plenty of Championship experience, most recently with Burnley last season, Saints apparently agreed a deal on Wednesday with City, but it is unclear whether this is permanent or another loan. **Harwood Bellis Loan Signing Announced 9am Friday)

Joseph Paintsil (Genk) - Saints are trying to get this one over the line as part of a swap deal with Genk with Tall Paul going in the other direction on loan, Leeds were close to signing him last week but the deal fell through, reports from the North suggest that Elland Road is the preferred destination for the player himself.

Patrick Roberts (Sunderland) -The 26 year old winger is in the last year of his contract and has experience at Championship level and indeed in the Premier League, Saints are said to be trying to get him for £3 million plus add ons, a key member of the Sunderland squad for two seasons.

Matt O'Riley (Celtic) - Played under Russell Martin at MK Dons, the central midfielder is linked with a reunion, but with Will Smallbone signing a new deal , it is not a position that Saints really need to buy in.

Andi Zequri (Brighton) - Leicester & Birmingham also said to be interested, but it doesn't seem to be anything other than agents pushing rumours.

Bojan Miovski (Aberdeen) - Seems to be more agents or journalists pushing this claim.

Lawrence Shankland ( Hearts) - More likely than Miovski, but only likely to happen if Saints fail to land Stewart.

Johan Hove (Groningen) - This seemed to have some legs a week or so ago, but has gone quiet.

So these are the potential signings on deadline day, although there could be one or two more flying under the radar and a few stalking horses in play.

Now those likely to leave.

Che Adams- The saga has now reached it's final day and as per our story last night, there are 3 options on the table for Adams to even leave and that is before any potential suitor speak to Saints, Wolves looks the likeliest destination although Palace, Bournemouth & even Everton are hovering.

Armel Bella Kotchap - Both Bayern Munich & Borussia Dortmund have been chasing him, but they are only interested in a loan deal it seems for a player they see as a back up., Friday morning however has seen reports that Dortmund cannot agree terms with Saints.

Kamaldeen Sulemana- It is now clear that player & club are in dispute, Sulemana has not been seen at all with the first team squad, Everton are trying to do a deal, the player apparently has a release clause of £30 million and Saints seem to be holding firm on that or somewhere near that, but if they get over the £22 million they paid, they might just get it done.

Tall Paul Onauchu - The issue is wages, there is no one in England interested and even a loan move might be an issue for clubs on the continent, if Saints can land Paintsil, then they might negotiate more leniently with Genk on a deal.

Alex McCarthy- The signing of Joe Lumley was the writing on the wall for Alex McCarthy, he is not suited to the possession game and using the ball with his feet, Lumley has been on the bench for the past two games, I expect a late loan move for the keeper.

Joe Aribo - Again rumours that he wants away after falling out of favour last season, Russell martin has used him in recent games, so unless a good bid comes in, I would hope he would stay.

Sekou Mara - Talks of a permanent move to Werder Bremen emerged on Thursday, however Saints are said to have rejected the first offer, I still think he could be a success at St Mary's but as with Nathan Tella, if we get a bid in above the players worth we would accept.

Jan Bednarek- He is my out of the blue departure, if Saints land Harwood Ellis and don't move on Bella-Kotchap we will be top heavy in the centre of the defence, watch this space.

Moussa Djenepo - Well down the pecking order after recent arrivals, I expect a late loan move to happen.

James Bree - Again I would see a loan move, but we maybe lack a little cover in this position so he may stay till January.

So that is a summary of where the transfer market stands for Southampton with 14 hours of the window left, there could be new names thrown into the hat as the day progresses, I will update this page as and when anything happens.

But to keep it moving as I am not omnipresent, if TUI members can post updates in the comments section it can be a one stop point to get the latest rumour, counter rumour and hopefully at some stage Fact !
