Saints Release More Tickets In The Northam End For The Norwich City Game
This morning Southampton were down to the last 150 available tickets in the home seated areas and this after releasing half a block that would usually be allocated to the visiting supporters, but now more have gone on sale.
It seems that roughly speaking another 500 tickets have gone on sale, all in block 43 of the Northam End right behind the goal, it seems that Norwich City are not bringing down as many as they had hoped and that not only have they not sold Block 43 which they have now returned, but they are still selling tickets on their website for the trip to Southampton and advising fans that it will be possible to purchase tickets for the away end from the St Mary's ticket office.
So the security netting is now going to be put into block 44 and not in the Itchen side of Block 43, thus freeing up more tickets in the Northam End for sale, as of Friday afternoon there were still 575 tickets left in this block.
Add around 140 dotted in the other areas of the ground and it is going to be close to a sell out by kick off tomorrow.
Saints supporters can buy direct from the ticket office up to kick off time, but the advice is to buy online to save queues on the day.
